Do Windows of Flat Towed Vehicle Need to be Cracked

Question:
Is there a concern regarding interior temperature in your towed vehicle? Should the dashboard vents be set to open with rear windows cracked open slightly to vent some heat in hot weather?

Hey Michael, that is a really interesting question that I don't think I've had before but no you do not need to worry about heat build up in your flat towed vehicle. I would leave the windows and vents closed. This way there would be no chance of rain or any exhaust fumes from getting in your vehicle. It probably wouldn't really matter either way though so if you'd rather leave the vents open nothing bad is realistically going to happen but it's not something normally you have to worry about at all.

I only ask because I have read that leaving vents open or windows cracked is not a good idea and it creates a vacuum. I thought that leaving the dash vent open to allow for some air movement through the vehicle would prevent the interior from getting to such high temps because it would exit through the cars rear fender pressure vents I was curious if you had ever had that question. Thanks Jameson
