Question:
I’m stuck between the 6inch and 8inch versions - WS82ER and WS59WR. Is there any reason to pick one over the other besides truck height?

Jeff, you’ve nailed it: the only difference is how much drop. Both handle 15K GTW / 1,500 lbs tongue weight, both come with the same pintle + ball setup, and both have the built-in scale. Go with the 6" drop # WS82ER if your truck's receiver doesn't sit more than 6" above your trailer's coupler. The 8" drop # WS59WR will be good if you’ve got a taller setup like a lifted pickup and small trailer where there is 7 or 8 inches between the two.
Does that make sense? Let me know if you need help measuring the difference!
