Adjustable Drop Hitch With Built-In Scale That Has 2" Ball AND 2-5/16" Ball - 14k Equipment Trailer
Published 10/01/2025 >
Question:
I pull both a 14K equipment trailer with a lunette ring and a smaller flatbed with a 2-5/16inch coupler. Will the Weigh Safe WS82ER cover me for both setups, or would I need two different hitches?

Great question, Alan. The Weigh Safe # WS82ER is designed exactly for that scenario. It gives you a pintle hook for your lunette ring trailer, and it comes with both 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch hitch balls for standard couplers.
Everything is built into the same shank, so you won’t need to swap hitches when switching trailers. Plus, the built-in scale makes it easy to confirm tongue weight right at hookup, so you’ll know if your equipment trailer is balanced before you hit the road.
Do you typically run your equipment trailer loaded close to that 14K max?
