Will Adding Timbren Bump Stops Affect The Adjustment Of My Weight Distribution Hitch?

Im looking at the timbren bump stops for my 15 silverado 2500 if I replace these will this affect my weight Distribution Hitch adjustments when towing my RV my trailer is 7,500 lbs around 900 lbs tounge

Hello Donny, thanks for reaching out. We do offer Timbrens for the 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500, for that I recommend part # TGMRCK25D.

These likely will affect the adjustment of your weight distribution system. You will want to install the Timbrens first, then install and adjust the WD hitch as needed.

What weight distribution hitch are you using?

Im using the curt round ball item 17057 with sway bar probably don't need the bump stops just felt as long as they are not touching it should not effect the hitch set up but could assist if roads get rough to eliminate truck bounce

@DonnyM Ok cool with that Curt 17057 it should be a simple matter of moving a few chain links. It really just depends how much your truck is sagging if the Timbrens will come into play or not. Timbrens, or better yet an air bag kit like part # F2613 will definitely help with stability and eliminate bouncing.
