Question:
What cable size should be used with the HU82VR surge protector? Do you recommend the cable ends should be ferruled when installing?
asked by: Ward B
Expert Reply:
Hi Ward; there is no specific size cable for the Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU82VR. This is designed to be used with a 50 amp power cord like # A10-5025END with the pigtail end for hard wiring. The wire gauges vary within the cable itself. The cable ends do not need to be ferruled, you need to strip the ends back 3/8" as indicated in the instructions.
