Can Power Watchdog Surge Protector HU82VR Be Used with Generators

Question:
Will this work when you are running the generator? I have read in other places that people have had trouble using a generator. On our rig the generator is installed in the RV. It is not a portable one that we would plug in.

Hey Jeff, yes the Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU82VR that you referenced can be used with a generator. We haven't had any issues with it and generators but I wonder if the problem is that the generators in question weren't pure sine wave generators.
