Question:
I have a 2016 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32SA. It came with Fantastic fan, kitchen: Model 4175 Fantastic fan, bathroom: Model 4100 Both of these have motorized lid openers. That means that they are either totally closed or totally open. I cannot open them only 1/2 to 3/4 open as the description says. So does this mean I cannot have a vent cover over my Fantastic Fans on my RV?

Hello Bob, good question. We actually get asked this every now and then. It will be fine to use a vent cover that does not allow the lid to open all the way. The lift motor will stop once it feels resistance and will hold that position without any problems. It does not affect the motor or wear it down. The Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover # FVU1500WH (White) or # DMC38FR (Black) fit all Fan-Tastic Vent trailer roof vents, so that is what I recommend.

Hey Bob, how did things go with the vent covers on your Tiffin Allegro? Did the motorized lids stop smoothly when they met resistance like we discussed? Your update could make it easier for others with the same fans.
