Replacement Right Rear Leg For Lippert Ground Control 3.0 System

Published 09/25/2025

Question:

I have a damaged right rear Lippert Ground Control 3.0 System jack assembly that I need to replace on my 2022 Flagstaff Super Lite 529RLBS fifth wheel. The damaged one has a galvanized metal not black painted foot thats attached to an adjustable leg with three holes for different height adjustments. From all the pictures and videos Ive seen there are only two types available as replacements. One has a separate foot plate that attached to the inner portion of the jack that raises and lowers the unit and the other is a foot thats fixed to the leg. Neither is adjustable like my original. Th rest of the replacements look exactly the same. Is there another model exactly like mine? Will either of the other two types work if I mix a new one on the right with an original adjustable one on the left? What issues will I have with auto leveling, if any?

Hello Andy, thanks for reaching out. There is not another model available aftermarket that will be exactly like yours. You can still use the "non drop leg" versions to replace it. You will just need to measure the overall height of the retracted leg and select from one of the following:

-Replacement 22-1/2" Right Rear Leg for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System # LC428493

-Replacement 24-1/2" Right Rear Leg - Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System # LC344792

The 22-1/2" and 24-1/2" measurement is the retracted height. Measure the undamaged right rear leg and pick whichever one matches.

Thanks Jesse. One additional concern. When auto leveling I always extend the adjustable section to the third hole, fully extended before starting to auto level. That would mean the new jack would need to extend much further to be equally extended with the other side. Does that mean the new one will extend further to make up the difference? Will the system recognize this with the two different jacks?

@AndyL I just ran this by my contact at Lippert to be sure. The "non drop leg" jacks will still work for this. They will operate fine and when you auto level things will even out. They said having one drop leg and one "non drop leg" would not matter.
