Which Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution for Trailer 430 lb Tongue Weight

Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 09/07/2025

Question:

Aloha?? I have a 16 ft Airstream with a GVWR at 3500lbs and hitch weight of over 430lbs. Should I then go up to the 6,000 lb equal-I-zer? I pull with a 2020 Toyota sequoia

Hey Mike, yes your best option would be the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ90-00-0600 which has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs. Ideally your trailer's tongue weight falls as close to the middle of the range of the WD system which this comes very close to that so it would work well. Does your Sequoia sag when towing?

@MikeL A weight distribution system will be exactly what you need then.
