Replacement Lifter for a Vent Fan
Updated 09/29/2025 | Published 09/06/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2018 KZ Durango Gold fifth wheel. I’ve done the replacement of the lifter mechanism but my lid thinks it’s fully closed when it in fact is 2 inches open still. Seems like the new piece is a quarter turn off somehow of that makes sense. How can I fix this so that my vent lid will close properly? Pardon the dust, I’ve included a pic from the inside showing the gap while in “closed” position.

Hey Aaron. What model fan do you have and which lid lifter did you buy? I didn't see any order numbers.

Hey Aaron, did you have a chance to check which model fan you have and the specific lid lifter you purchased? I'm asking because it could help others who might face a similar issue with their vent lid not closing properly.
