Hi Denny,
To replace your Lift operator you'll need to first manually open your MaxxFan # MA00-04500K using the lift knob. Then you'll need to get up on the roof. Once up on the roof you can press in on the lift arms # MA10-20222KS just enough to pop them out of the track on the lid and lower the lid down so you have more room to work. You'll want to be careful doing this so that you don't accidentally bend the lift arms and make sure you don't accidentally lose the bushings # MA10-20287 since you'll need them when you put the lift arms back in place.
The lift operator # MA10-20281K-1AF has two screws holding it in place that you'll remove to pop it out of the gearing below and from the lift arms. The lift arms also have one bracket with two screws holding them in place that you can remove if you're replacing the lift arms as well. Once the lift operator is swapped out you can pop the lift arms back into the track on the lid and lower and close it again and try out the keypad to test the new operator.

Hey Denny, how did the lift operator replacement go on your MaxxFan? Were you able to get the lift arms and bushings back in place without any trouble? Your update could make it easier for others working on the same fan.
