Question:
Hi, I have the Yakima LockNLoad platform installed onto my factory installed crossbars. I am considering getting the Yakima SlimShady 8ft awning. I believe that the awning clamps are universal but I have not seem the the LockNLoad/SlimShady combo anywhere. I want to confirm that that this will work and that the clamps can be connect to the LockNLoad. Thanks!

Yes! It will work on the Yakima LocknLoad Platform # Y42AV that's on the factory crossbars on your 2021 GMC Yukon. The Yakima SlimShady # Y96VR will attach to the side rails of your platform. Note that the awnings come in different sizes, so make sure to get the length that matches your platform and your needs.
# Y56VR - 30 sq ft
# Y36VR - 42 sq ft
# Y96VR - 64 sq ft
