Hey Jeff, you do not need to use safety chains with the PullRite Single Point SuperLite Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # PUL33RR due to how the safety chain laws are written. Since the hitch does use a hitch ball in a traditional sense safety chains aren't needed.

Hey Jeff, did the PullRite Single Point SuperLite Adapter work out for your towing needs without the safety chains? I'm asking because it could give others confidence when choosing this setup.
