Do You Have an Over the Cab Ladder Rack for 2025 Toyota Tundra Compatible with Tonneau Cover?

Updated 10/10/2025 | Published 08/27/2025

Question:

Hello, Im circling back on a question Ive already asked but curious if other options may have come available since December. I have a 2025 Toyota Tundra SR, extended cab with 6.5’ bed. I would like to fit a ladder rack with a soft bed cover. I understand there can be compatibility issues with this combination. If possible, I’d like a rack that extends over the over cab. Can you point me at compatible options?

Hello again John,

I am sorry, but none of the over the cab ladder racks like the # e78FV are compatible with a tonneau cover because of how they are installed around the side of the truck bed. The option I mentioned back in December would still be your best option:

Your best option would be to go with the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack - 500 lbs - Matte Black # A85AG, or for silver # A25AG. For an excellent soft roll up tonneau cover you will want the Access Original Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A64GW.

What are you looking to haul that you want the over the bed ladder rack?

Hey John, did you have a chance to try out the Adarac Aluminum Series Ladder Rack with the Access Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover? I'm curious to know if it worked out for your needs, as it could help others looking for a similar setup.

@KateF hey Kate, I just purchased the cover you recommended and decided to do a little more research on racks. Are there other racks aside from the Adarac that are compatible with #A64GW soft cover?

@JohnS I am sorry John, but we do not have a different rack that is compatible at this time. The Adarac is the only rack that we have that installs just using the stake pockets. If you try to find one elsewhere, just make sure it only installs through the stake pockets and doesn't clamp on the inside.
