Timken Bearing Kit For Dexter 6,000 lb Axle

Question:
I’m looking for the correct bearing and seal kit for a 2026 Alliance 32rls with Dexter 6,000 lb axles. Preferably the Timken kit if you have them. I have attached a picture of the axle tag for reference

Hey Brent, thanks for sending over that axle tag, that really helps narrow things down and I completely get wanting to make sure you’ve got the right kit so you’re not risking any fit issues or extra wear on your hubs.
Based on that Dexter 6,000 lb axle, you’re most likely running the standard setup that uses the 25580 inner bearing with 25520 race and the 15123 outer bearing with 15245 race. That’s the most common combination we see on Dexter 6K axles and it lines up with what your tag is pointing us toward.
The Timken kit that matches that setup is the part # TMK82VR, which includes both bearings, races, a grease seal, cotter pin, and washer for one hub. It’s a really solid choice if you’re looking for that peace of mind and long term reliability.
The one detail I would want to call out just to be safe is the grease seal size. Most of these use a 2.25 inch inner diameter seal, but the TMK82VR kit comes with a 2.125 inch seal, and that’s where there can be some variation depending on the exact hub that was used on your trailer. To be one hundred percent sure, we would either want to confirm the hub part number or measure the inner diameter of the current seal before ordering.
The most accurate way is to remove the hub and either read the part number stamped on the existing seal or measure it directly. Using a digital caliper is best, and you would measure the inside diameter of the seal or the spindle surface where the seal sits. That measurement will be either 2.125 inches or 2.25 inches.
If the seal is already removed, you can also measure the inside edge of the seal itself. If it is still installed, measuring the spindle where the seal rides will give the same result. If you let me know what your grease seal measurement is I can be confident that you are getting the correct kit.
