Question:

I have a 1994 Camaro z28 and I need to buy 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Trailer Hitches, but I need a heavy duty one to two a 2,500kg caravan. Do you have a trailer hitch to suit?

Hi Douglas!

We do have a hitch available for your 1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11117, but this is rated to tow 2,000 pounds (907kg). That said, your Camaro is only rated to tow up to 1,000 pounds (453kg), so you are limited to that as you are only as strong as the lowest rated component. Which in this case, is the Camaro.

Is there maybe a different vehicle you could use to tow your caravan with?
