Replacement 072-087-00 Dexter Axle Leaf Spring for a Boat Trailer

Question:
Hi etrailer: I am looking for replacement leaf springs for my boat trailer. The original springs are made by dexter, here is the info given to me: Trailer has 2800 of capacity. 072-087-00 26 5 LEAF AWS-5 Spring 4200/PR Could you recommend replacements from your inventory?

Hi Kevin,
To replace that leaf spring you need the 26" Long Dexter Double-Eye Leaf Spring # DX49BR. Be sure to swap out both leaf springs at the same time so your trailer suspension has the best performance and wear-down cycle.
