Brake Controller Recommendation for 2023 Mercedes GLE 350
Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/12/2025 >
Question:
I want to install a brake controller on a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 and am interested in a Proportional Controller. A controller recommendation is requested. Also, the cars connector to connect to the controller Im assuming is under the dash near the brake pedal. Im a bit concerned about that area as there is an airbag panel under there too. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hey Randy, do you have any trailer wiring currently like a 4-way or a 7-way? We will need to hardwire in a brake controller like the P3 part # 90195 but I would need to know what you have now in terms of trailer wiring.

Hey Randy, did you find out if you have any trailer wiring like a 4-way or a 7-way on your GLE 350? I'm asking because knowing this will help me guide you better on installing the brake controller safely around the airbag panel.
