Does the etrailer Hitch e98858 Work w/ the Full-Size Spare Tire on a 2008 Toyota Highlander?

Question:
I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander with 19inch wheels and a full size spare mounted under the rear of the vehicle. Wanted to confirm this hitch works with the spare and still allows access to the spare once installed. There is a picture with a spare but I dont know what size tire that is. Thanks.

Hey Dan. The etrailer Hitch item # e98858 will indeed work with your full sized spare tire. This hitch is custom fit for your 2008 Toyota Highlander. It is a class III hitch, with a 2" receiver, it has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight.
