Best Way to Carry Paddleboard Between Multiple Vehicles with No Roof Rack

I would like to purchase TH811XT, but I need to be able to put it on both a 2020 Honda Civic and a 2024 Hyundai Kona, neither car has any crossbars. Will this product work on both cars. Main question is do I need to have cross bars on my cars for this to work.

Hey Julie, thanks for reaching out!
The Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH811XT does mount to crossbars (see attached photo) so we'll either need to get both vehicles equipped with their own roof rack, or we'll need to look into an alternative setup.
Since neither car has a roof rack, I recommend using the SeaSucker Surfboard Carrier # 298-BX1806 instead. This mounts directly to a vehicle roof and can be easily removed and stored when not in use. I recently went on a trip with my family and we used the Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B to gain some extra storage on the roof. The vacuum cups are surprisingly resilient, and you can easily check to make sure they are secured to your roof (for peace of mind) by seeing if any orange is showing on the pump (see attached photo). With just a few pushes it can seal back up to your roof and you'll be good to go!
