Hello Gregg,

I am not showing that any of the brake controllers have a vehicle specific pigtail for the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Did you confirm that there is a plug-in under your dash? if so, can you send me a picture of the plug in (please include one where I can see the whole plug, and one close up of the inside) by responding directly to the email that you receive.

I am showing that you would need to hard wire the P3 by splicing in the universal pigtail # 7894.

Please let me know about the plug-in.

Your answer appears to be accurate. I got the Pigtail, and have located a Green Wire, under the dash. Now I need to verify the proper connection for the rest of the Universal PigTail.

@GreggC We have an install video on Youtube for a 2004. I cannot add the link to my comment, so look out for an email. I am going to send you the link.

@GreggC I heard you are still having issues with the install. In your feedback you mentioned you used an adapter to go from your 4 way to a 7 way, I just want to make sure that you also ran the power line from your battery with some amps along the way, and the brake wire back to the 7 way as well. You would need to install something like the # ETBC7, if you go to the product page you will see the wiring diagram. Since you already have have the 7 way, you could purchase the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers # 5506, or you can find those parts in the kit locally, As for the brake wire, I show on Roadmaster.com: Color of brake light switch wire: WHITE/TAN The best way to find the correct brake wire is to use something like a Hook Probe Circuit Tester # PTW2993 so you can test the wire function.
