If Purchased, When Will The RV Safe RS44FR RV Propane Gas Detector Expire?

Question:
I want to purchase the Safe co/ propane detector that I put in my cart but the picture shows replace Oct 2025 When would the one I purchase expire? Have one that already says replace October 2025, want one good for 5 years. Thank you

Hi Robbie!
The picture with the one saying replace October 2025 is an older picture we took. We do have it on our list to get updated as you are not the first person to notice this, so hopefully it gets updated soon.
That said, I went out to our warehouse and grabbed 5 of the RV Propane Gas Detector - 12 Volt - 2 Wire - Black # RS44FR at random to check the dates. All of them say replace June 2030, so they are up to date. We go through a lot of these and get new ones from RV Safe regularly, so they will almost always be within about a month of the current date.
