Does the suv tent from napier come with side panels for rain? I want to plan a 4 day camping trip but it may rain most of the time. Rain could get in the SUV I guess.

Cheryl, the Napier SUV Awning # NA99FR doesn’t come with side walls, but the corners have loops if you want to clip on a tarp or windbreaker. A lot of campers bring an extra grommeted tarp and bungees to create a side shade in bad weather. There’s definitely some DIY flexibility built into the setup.
I think a better option for your situation is going to be the Napier Sportz SUV Tent - 5 Person # NA49FR. This can detach from the SUV trunk and act as a stand alone tent if need be, but even when connected to the SUV it does protect you from the rain.
