Can the Napier Sportz SUV Awning Be Used with Minivans?

Hi! I dont see anyone else has asked this question yet - will the sides of the Sports Cove get stuck or be in the way of the side sliding door on a minivan? I have a 2014 Town and Country where the door track is located along the bottom frame of the back window. While the door doesnt sit flush against the van body when open, it does have a connector pole along the track which might be hitting the tent material. How much space does the Sports Cove need to be attached? I have about 12.5 inches until the track gets in the way.

Hey Tara!

That is a good question! Thankfully, Napier does specifically state that Napier Sportz SUV Awning part # NA99FR will work with minivans. Since the tent secures around the rear liftgate hatch it won't interfere with the sliding doors. The tent has an adjustable universal sleeve that's designed to accommodate CUVs, SUVs, and minivans so it can be adjusted to fit perfectly!
