Great question, Sheila; mounting hardware isn’t included in the Demco 8,600lb drum brake actuator # DM78CV, but you’ll need four 1/2" x 4-1/2" Grade 5 bolts to install it to a standard 3" wide trailer tongue.
Be sure to use lock nuts and washers, and torque the bolts properly for a secure and safe fit. As you can see in the attached image, Demco recommends 75 ft lbs of torque.
Was your old one welded or bolted on?
