Question:
I am looking for an axle for an 06 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer. The tag on the existing axle says Tie Down Engineering 3750 LB MAX CAP. 2904844 It is a center square tube torsion axle. Thanks.

Hey Keith, welcome back! I do have a solution, but I'm sorry to say we don't carry torsion axles like the one on your 2006 Ranger boat trailer. What I can offer is a universal option like the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR3500S05.
The Timbren fits any trailer width, and uses AEON rubber springs which act like a torsion axle. This particular model has a 3,500 lb capacity. I'm not sure what the rest of the specs are on your trailer but this would be a capacity reduction by 250 lbs. If you need a higher capacity you can switch to the 5,200 lb # ASR5200S01. If you want to stick with a standard torsion axle I would try reaching out to Dexter to see if they can get a custom axle for you to match your old TDE axle.
Any big trips planned with your boat this summer?
