Can I hook this up to our F250? Also, do I need a rack to mount it to the ladder?

Hi Denise!

The Thetford Titan Tote Portable Waste Tank - 4 Wheel - 27 Gallon # TH94XE can hang on just about anything that can carry it, to be honest. It weighs 38 pounds when empty and 27 gallons of water weighs 224 pounds, so as long as where you want to hang this can handle around 262 pounds, you are good to go! Granted, this typically will not be filled to capacity. At least not all the time.

The hook used for this to hang on a ladder is also included, so no other parts will be needed. We did find that a cam buckle strap did hold it in place pretty well though. The 4-pack CargoBuckle # IMF12637 would be a good option for this (never hurts to have extra straps). Ratchet straps can be over tightened (which would be bad), so I wouldn't use those.

Since you said you wanted to put this on an F-250, am I correct in assuming you have a truck bed camper? If so, what do you have?

Ok to pull to dump station with a F250? Also, is handle detachable ? I don’t see it on your picture.

@DeniseA The handle will fit over the ball on a ball mount, so you can definitely pull it to a dump station with your F-250. Just do so at a walking speed. No highway driving with it hooked up like that! : ) The handle, and hook, actually store underneath the unit when not in use. Both are attached to the front axle so they are not detachable (not a bad idea though). If you check out the video I have attached to this, you can see what I mean starting at the 3 minute mark.
