Question:
I have a 27 ft bumper to bumper class A motorhome, 2 slides, with a Coleman 13,500 ducted AC. Considering a Furrion chil 1800 unit. Is there a replacement unit available for my Coleman unit and Is this unit to much for the size of my motorhome

Hello Bruce, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to replace your Coleman AC with a Furrion Chill Cube. It will mean replacing your distribution box, controller and thermostat as well. The Chill Cube can only work with other Chill Cube components and will not be backwards compatible with your old Coleman AC system.
I do not think the Chill Cube would be considered "too much" for a smaller motorhome. It will be a great upgrade and the AC simply will not need to work as hard to keep you cool. It should be able to even drop the temp several degrees lower than most other RV AC units, all while pulling less power.
For a ducted system I recommend the following:
- Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w Air Distribution Box, Thermostat - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR69TD
This comes with everything you need to replace your AC. You get the rooftop unit, distribution box and thermostat.
What model of RV do you have? Just curious
