I notice on my 2013 Silverado Duramax Diesel the DEF tank appears to be in the way of mounting these bars...??? Is it?

Hey George, thanks for reaching out!

I'm attaching a photo from the instructions of the Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars # 23-1950 mounting hardware for you to check out. I don't know exactly where the DEF tank is on your 2013 Silverado or how it's sitting, but you should be able to use the photos to check against what you find on your vehicle.

Let me know what you find either way!

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
