Hello Robert,

There is a good reason why you are not able to find a good replacement. The RV air conditioner refrigerant went from the R410a to the R32 this year. The R32 is more efficient making it better for the environment and the consumer, a win-win in my book.

The downfall to the new refrigerant is that you can no longer use the R410a parts with the new R32 parts, so this will require for you to get a whole new set-up.

Since your current duo therm was a 13,500 BTU I recommend going with the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # FR35TD. The # FR35TD will come with everything you need for a new R32 set-up.

An Advent would be a great option as well, the Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # ADV65SR, but as of now you will have to wait a little longer to get it. You will need to check the dates on the product pages on ETA. With the new refrigerant being released, it is hard to keep the AC's on the shelves.

Any big adventures coming up? Or better yet, what has been you most favorite adventure yet? I am always looking for a new places to explore and there is no one better to ask than our neighbors (customers)!

Hey Robert, Did you find a replacement air conditioner that worked well for your camper? I'm curious to know how the new R32 setup is working out for you. If you’re still looking for a solution, I’m happy to help!
