Features to know about

Flame Failure Device Stops Gas Automatically

If a burner goes out unexpectedly, gas can continue flowing without you noticing. Each burner includes a Flame Failure Device that detects when there is no flame and shuts off the gas supply. This is especially important in enclosed RV spaces where movement or airflow can affect the flame.

Piezo Ignition Replaces Manual Lighting

You don't need a lighter or match to start the burners. The piezo ignition creates a spark at the burner when activated. This simplifies startup and avoids repeated attempts to get the flame going.

Glass Cover Functions as a Dual-Purpose Surface

The 2-piece hinged glass cover folds up to act as a splashguard while cooking. When closed, it covers the burners and creates a flat surface that can be used for light prep or to reclaim counter space when the cooktop is not in use.

12V Power Supports Ignition and Controls

This cooktop uses 12V DC power for ignition and LED control functions. The burners themselves run on propane, but the electrical connection is required for normal operation of the ignition system and indicators.

Burner Output and Cooking Layout

The cooktop includes one 8,000 BTU front burner and two 6,500 BTU side burners. This layout allows you to run multiple pans at different heat levels, making it easier to cook more than one item at a time in a compact space.

Designed for RV Installation

This unit is built specifically for RV use, with dimensions and connections suited for standard installations. It is intended to mount into a countertop opening and connect to an existing propane system.

Video Transcript for Review of Furrion RV Stoves and Ovens - Propane RV Cooktop Glass Cover SS - FR33TF

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Furion Propane RV Cooktop with glass cover in this stainless steel finish. Now this RV cooktop is designed to drop right into most standard setups. So installation is going to be pretty straightforward. This is 21-and-half inches wide, which does match the typical cutout size that you're gonna find in a lot of RV countertops.

But in terms of cooking, this is gonna give you pretty good flexibility. There are three burners total. Lemme go ahead and give you an overhead look here. I'm gonna lift this glass cover up just like that. And so as I said, you are going to get three burners.

One stronger front burner is set at 8,000 BTU for things like boiling or searing. And then you have these two side burners that are set at 6,500 BTU. These are gonna be great for everyday cooking tasks, so you're gonna be able to easily handle multiple dishes. And then one of the really nice features is the built-in piezo ignition. So that just means that you're not going to need a lighter, you're just gonna turn that knob, and it's gonna spark automatically to light the burners.

Safety-wise, this does have a flame failure device on each of the burners. So if a flame accidentally goes out, the gas will shut off automatically. That's a big plus in an RV. And I really do like this glass cover. It is a hinge glass cover so when you're not cooking, you can close it to protect the burners, but then you can use it also as space, as extra prep area.

So that's gonna be really helpful in a small kitchen. This is really gonna look classy in my opinion. And then just kind of going back out to a closer up view there, you kind of see what this is going to look like with it closed. But then when you open this up, as you already saw initially, this will act as a backsplash. So this does serve more than just the purpose of just being a cover. So it's gonna protect that backsplash area behind this cooktop. So really great function and features here that this does give you. Speaking of features, our control knobs are lit. They are LED rings here and the knobs, by the way, they are nice and solid, very smooth operation. So what I wanna do is shut my studio lights off here real quick and that's what they are going to look like. It's a little bit brighter in person. These type of lights don't always translate well over camera, but I'm a big fan of these LED lights on the knobs. So not only can you use it for kind of like an aesthetic vibe, but it's also great just so you can actually see where the knobs are in low light conditions. And then if you don't like it, you can shut it off just like that. And so whether you like it or not, you're in control of that. I'm gonna go ahead and unplug this from my power source here. And I want to give you a full 360. Here's where you wire this into your DC, your 12-volt DC and then this is where you're gonna hook it up to propane. So again, this is going to be in this stainless steel finish. Looks great. It's gonna go with just about any type of decor. Lemme get my tape measure here, give you some overall measurements. So as I mentioned, the overall width is gonna be right at 21-and-a-half inches. We have had some folks asking about the width, the cutout width I guess you could call it. Lemme see if I can give that to you real quick. So it looks like about 20 inches if you can see that there. So if they have measurements important to you. And then looking at the depth, looks like we are right at about 21 inches, I'm sorry, not 21 inches. A little over 19 inches on just the overall depth and then the height, right at about four inches. I wanna go back to that depth real quick 'cause I wanna include the knobs with that as well. So lemme see if I can do that. It's kind of rough here with this angle, so maybe closer to 21 inches there when you're taking in those knobs. So I hope that's helpful for you. It's kind of difficult to give certain measurements over camera because of the angles and the knobs are kind of hard to pick that up with the tape measure on camera as well. But this is built to be easy to use, safe and spaced-efficient in your RV. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
