Question:

I have a 2018 montana 35ft fifth wheel without a hitch i need one that i can pull my 4000lbs boat behind it withouy worring about it breaking off i also tow a 1998 jeep wrangler behind it on a trailer not flat towing do you have a hitch that will stand that much weight dont know the tongue weight on either both pretty heavy

Hello Robert,

The boat would definitely be at the top of my list of things to bring, but then again I do a lot of bass fishing.

We have a couple of adjustable hitches that should work for you, you will need to measure the frame of the 2018 Montana to figure out your best fit. These are the highest rated adjustable hitches that we have, all rated for 500 tongue weight and 5,000 pound towing capacity:

- 22"-66": Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 66" Wide # C13704

- 18"-51" with 2" drop: Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2" # C13701, without the 2" drop # C13702

- 24"-46": Multi-Fit Motorhome Trailer Hitch, 24" - 46" wide # 5350

These are all bolt on hitches, but if you wanted some extra "Peace of Mind" you could get a local custom fabricator to weld it.
