Hello, Im looking for recommendations for a complete setup to flat tow my 2021 GMC Yukon SLT with diesel engine. I already have blue ox tow bars but will need the base plate and wiring harness

Hey Justin,

For your setup with the Blue ox tow bar you already have I recommend the Blue Ox base plate kit # BLU24XR. This is specifically for your diesel engine and works great with Blue Ox tow bars.

Wiring wise I always recommend the Roadmaster # RM-15267 for your vehicle. It comes with a coiled 7 way to 6 way adapter chord to make the hookup to the motor home simple.

I know you mentioned the base plate and tow bar but I will throw in some other parts in case you need those as well. The Brake Buddy 3 # HM39494 is a great breaking system option and super simple to install and take out. A battery disconnect is always recommended when flat towing so for your specific vehicle I recommend # RM93MR.
