Question:
Hello, just wondering how common it is to have to replace the Thule quick access interface pair model 1500052989 I’ve had my Thule rack only two years and the rubber stripping needs replacing. Does that sound right? Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Hey Melissa, I wouldn't say it's super common to have to replace it so that is odd yours needs it. Is the strip # 1500052989 breaking down and becoming damaged or is it coming off and and just needs to be replaced since it's missing?

Hi there! Thanks for responding! I have the cradles put on and taken off at the beginning/end of each season and it seems the guys doing it at the place I bought the whole system from seem to struggle with keeping the rubber from bunching up and moving and popping out….I'm wondering if they are doing something incorrectly because it seems odd that I would be replacing the rubber this quickly!! Could it be human error? Regardless I will be replacing it but I don’t want to keep doing it if the problem is human error!!
