Question:
Will the Firestone F2250 work with a 2008 Suburban 2500 leaf springs, 14 bolt full floating 10.5 inch axle? The rear suspension of the Suburban 2500 is essentially a Silverado 2500 with leaf springs, but all the air bag fitment guides only list the pickup trucks, not the Suburban 2500. The fitment guides show coil spring helpers for the rear of the Suburban but coils are only used on the 1500 Suburban.

Hey Bob,
The Firestone # F2250 is not a confirmed fit for that 2008 Chevy Suburban so i cannot confirm if that is going to work with that vehicle. We do have a set of airbags for that 2008 Suburban from AirLift with a 2,000lb capacity. The 3 AL59526 Airlift springs are a confirmed fitment for your vehicle with rear leaf springs. I recommend going with that kit if you are really wanting airbags.
I do not recommend trying the Firestone kit since it is not a confirmed fit it may fail or void any warranty on the bags or possibly the vehicle. The other option would be something like bump stops for the rear of your vehicle like part # TGMFK25S to help with any sag in the rear.
Are you set on airbags, or are you just needing something to enhance the rear suspension on that Chevy?

Hey Bob, Did you decide to go with the AirLift airbags for your 2008 Suburban, or are you considering other options like the bump stops? I'm curious to know what worked best for your rear suspension needs, as it could help others with similar vehicles.
