Would Hitch from 2018 Toyota Highlander Fit 2024 Highlander

Question:

I have a 24 Highlander. The Curt hitch for it is 13460 or 13453. I can get a Curt hitch off a 2018 Highlander, but I’m not sure of that model number. If it’s not the 13460/13453, can it be adjusted to fit? If not, what makes it not fit my vehicle?

Hey William, there was a big enough change to the frame of the Highlander in 2020 that a new hitch had to be designed so what that means is that the hitch from a 2018 Highlander would not fit on your 2024 model and you'd have to upgrade to the Curt # C99FR. There is no modifications that can be made to allow the fit of the older model hitch on the 24'. What do you need to use the hitch for?
