Replacement Caliper for Tie Down Engineering 46802

Question:

I heard the tie down engineering calipers 46802 are no longer in production? I am looking for a direct replacement

Hey Dan, TDE was bought out by Dexter so for the correct replacement caliper what you would need is the part # K71-624-00 which is for 3,500 lb axles like what you have. Do you need just the one caliper?

I have 7k 8 lug axels?

@Dan Hmmm maybe I found bad info. Does the caliper have a dual piston or a single piston? The part # K71-693-00 is for 7k axles.

@Dan That is really odd. We don't have an exact replacement then. I did see some on like eBay when I searched that part number though.
