Does Battery Type Need to be Selected When Installing Go Power MPPT Solar Charge Controller

i have a agm battery now but i want to put a lipo4 on the camper do i have to change anything on the controller

Hey Joe, the MPPT converter you mentioned actually isn't made anymore but we do have the Go Power part # GP32QR which is also a 30 amp MPPT converter that is lithium compatible. You would need to select the battery type on the charge controller's touch screen.

Hey Joe, did you decide on a lithium battery for your camper yet? I'm asking because I want to ensure others can smoothly transition to lithium batteries too.
