Hi Mike; are you referring to the answer page you looked at with the Adapter Rails # C88KR? Raising the height of your 5th wheel hitch by 2-1/2" isn't necessarily a bad thing, it really depends on the setup. Bud was only pointing that out for anyone that may already be a little nose high or right at level that wouldn't want to raise the hitch an additional 2-1/2" if they couldn't adjust their pin box or hitch to offset the difference.

If you have room to lower your 5th wheel hitch or adjust the pin box and remain level, or if you're looking for additional height, this won't be an issue. The adapter will let you use hitches designed to fit industry standard rails like the Curt A16 # C16120 you were looking at.

Hey Mike, did you find that adjusting your 5th wheel hitch or pin box helped with your setup? I'm asking because your experience could help others with similar setups.
