Question:

I have a 2023 Grand Design 310GK. It has 2 7000lb axles and CRE3000 suspension equalizers. I am looking for replacement leaf springs. OEM lists them as 26in eye to eye 4000lb springs part 679373. Not sure why it lists 4000lb springs for 7000lb axles and not 3500lb springs. I have only been able to find 26in eye to eye for 4000lb axles on your site. Do you have anything at 4000lbs that is 26in? I would even be happy with 3500lb at 26in as I believe that would be properly sized. I also am looking at MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4inch Long Shackle Straps, assuming the wet bolts and bushings would fit the springs if I can find them.

Hello Dan, thanks for reaching out. Yea typically the springs on a 7,000 lb axle would be rated for 3,500 lbs but it is not unheard of for the spring rating to be slightly higher than the axle. Perhaps Grand Design ran out of 3,500 lb springs when you camper was built.

That said, we do have 26" 6,000 lb springs that will work for you, but we do not have any 7,000 lb springs. The 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 6,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long # e94SR.

Then for the MORryde kit you will want part # MR46ZR which comes with the 2-1/4" shackles, bronze bushings and wet bolts. The bronze bushings will fit the spring I mentioned, but you will need to remove the nylon bushings that come pre-inserted.

Hey Dan, did the 6,000 lb springs and MORryde kit work out for your Grand Design? I'm asking because knowing your experience could help others in a similar situation.
