Best Replacement For Jensen RV Stereo AWM965

Question:

I need to replace my Jensen stereo in my rv and was wondering what stereo would be a good replacement for my Jensen Awm965 and will I be able to unplug the current stereo and plug in the new one without cutting any wires?

Hello Rich, thanks for reaching out. The best replacement for the Jensen Awm965 is the Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A. It has the same cut out size as the Awm965 at 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep. The wiring connector for the Jensen RV Bluetooth Stereo # JWM60A is the same as what it found on your existing stereo so you can simply plug in the connector from your old setup into the back of the new # JWM60A without splicing. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

Hey Jesse, I had other fixes that needed to be addressed first, now it's time to replace my stereo, I do have a question regarding the Jwm60a, is there one that does HDMI hookups or is there an HDMI adapter, my tv is HDMI, I also have an android box (also HDMI) that I'd love to route through the stereo then up to tv for video with sound going through the stereo and zone speakees Thanks you, Rich [email protected]

@Rich Hey Rich, the Jensen # JWM60A does not have an HDMI output. You might be able to do an HDMI to AV adapter, but that is not something we offer here. We do have other units with HDMI connections like the Jensen # JEN25RR. Its a bit smaller than the # JWM60A though.

@JesseM what about the JEN43YR to replace my Jenson Awm965, will that work, will my wiring harness plug into the back of of it? Same connection on the back?
