Weight Distribution Recommendation for 22' Nissan Titan Towing Horse Trailer
Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 05/17/2025 >
Question:
Hi, I have a 2022 Nissan Titan. I will be towing a 3200 pound horse trailer when it’s empty.. and approximately 5600 pounds when it’s loaded. I’m not quite sure of the tongue weight. My question is purchasing a stabilizer system. Or an anti-sway bar under the truck. What would be my best option? I know that I’ll end up probably purchasing both but right now I can only pick up one of them. And is the friction control help for the stabilizer bars? What would be the best kit to purchase from you if it is the stabilizer bars that I should purchase first? Thank you very much. Dan

Hey Dan, a weight distribution system like the Reese Pro Round Bar part # RE34FR would make the biggest difference and this also has sway control built into it. This has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs which would cover what your horse trailer would have loaded and unloaded so it would work great.
