Looking for a water heater replacement door for 2008 Forest River Wildwood, 23. Opening ID is 13X13. Need door and bezel. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Thanks for reaching out Jeff! Finding replacement parts can be quite the treasure hunt. If your 2008 Forest River Wildwood came with a water heater from the factory, there’s a good chance it’s a Suburban 6-gallon model, which was commonly installed in those trailers.

For a replacement door, I’d recommend taking a look at the Replacement Door for Dometic and Suburban RV Water Heaters – part # DMC58FR. It’s designed to fit a 12-3/4" x 12-3/4" cutout, which matches up well with your opening size.

That said, if this door doesn’t look quite like your original, no worries at all — just let me know! If you can tell me the model of your current water heater or even send a quick picture of the existing door, I’d be more than happy to help track down the right match.

@HeatherA Hi Heather, Yes, a very good fit. Couple of shims on the bottom to center it north and south but, with that, all lined up correctly. Thanks, Jeff
