Hey I have an ac that just went out, I need to know if this is compatible with my camper its a dometic duo therm ac the connector is 6 pin , Camper : 2008 sundance heartland 287rl 5th wheel. Ac model is 59516.731g9 Ac Product is 991761589 Thank you so much

Hello Jeremy, thanks for reaching out. Sadly, the Advent AC # ADV29FR would not be compatible with the Duo-Therm AC system. You can still use an advent unit, but you would need to replace your thermostat, distribution box and controller as well. This is the only way to guarantee the controller and thermostat and AC all intercommunicate correctly. We have been seeing a TON of compatibility issues with the Dometic ACs recently so it is definitely best to swap out everything.

For that, you can use the Advent AC System # ADV82SR. This comes with the low profile AC unit, distribution box, controller, wall thermostat and heat strip.

Hey Jeremy, did you decide to go with the Advent AC System that includes the thermostat and controller? I'm curious to know if it solved the compatibility issues with your camper's AC setup. Your experience could really help others facing similar challenges.
