What is Best Way to Lift 2025 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS

Updated 05/05/2025 | Published 04/30/2025

Question:

I have a 2023 ram 3500 and a 2025 GD reflection 337rls/. when hooked up my clearance between the bed rails and the fifth wheel are less than ideal and the fifth wheel is front high a bit. can I use a heavier leaf spring to gain additional ground clearance for my fifth wheel?

Hey Charles, I have a solution for you but going with stiffer suspension on your 2025 GD reflection 337rls would not be an ideal way to gain addition height nor would it really be very effective. Instead your best solution would be to go with a lift kit designed for tandem axle trailers like what you have with the Correct Track # RR55QX which can give you a lift of up to 2-1/4 inches. I know the title says it's for a triple axle trailer but it's correct kit for a tandem to give you the amount of lift you are needing. Out of curiosity what is the amount of bed rail clearance you have now?

Thank you for the reply. I will have to hitch back up to my fifth wheel and measure again as I just had airbags added so I can keep my tow vehicle level. I forgot to mention earlier that I have the morryde cre3000, but did notice that the part you listed says it is not compatible with that system. Is there a different part that will work? Thank you. Charles.

@CharlesV ah bummer yeah that kit won't work for you based on your CRE3000. Are you axles above or below the leaf springs? If above we can help but I would need to know axle diameter.

@JamesonC Axles are already under the springs, that is why I had thought maybe springs with more arc could possibly help. Was hoping to find an option other than replacing the truck bed with a flatbed. Thank you. Charles Vickery.

@CharlesV Maybe there is a leaf spring that could help. Could you get me the current spring length from spring eye to spring eye, the axle capacity of the trailer, and the amount leaves your current spring has and I can see if there's something that could help. Hopefully there's something with more leaves available as that would increase the height with just that aspect.
