Question:

I have a 2017 Forest River Wildwood ultra lite.I went to install a Furion Vision s+ and the female plug is not compatible with the pigtail on the camera. Do you have something to remedy this situation?

Hey Joe, thanks for reaching out!

To get the camera from the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Backup System, like part # FR57AD with 1 camera, to work, you'll need to remove the plug on your Forest River and install the plug that came with the camera. You might try cutting the plug off initially to see if there are just 2 wires that you can then splice to the plug that came with your kit, but that's about it.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

John, Thanks for the input, I found the cable and hooked up the camera, unfortunatly there was not enough voltage to work the camera. After pulling one of the marker lights I found it had 12volts and connecte the wire to tahat light.Wow , what a nghtmare!!

@JonG I have a 2025 Keystone Coleman 27B which is pre-wired for a back-up camera. The pre-wire says it is compatible with Furrion Vision S + shows the part number as FRCBRKT2-BL, Lippert part # 2022070680, will the Furrion S+ work with my trailer? Do I need a converter? Would I have to fish a wire from a taillight like Joe? I'd really like the Furrion S+ system, but am not interested in a significant installation project. The plate on the pre-wire says installation should take 15 minutes which sounds great to me!

@JimC The Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Backup System w/ 1 Camera # FR57AD should match right up with your Keystone, but I'll tell you how to verify it on your end! If you check out the 4th photo on the Vision S+ camera system, you'll see that there is a plug on it that looks like a headphone jack. Does the pre-wired bracket at the back of your Keystone have a socket that looks like it will accept this plug?
