Looking for a equalizer hitch for a trailer 30 6500lbs

Hey Robert! Is the 6,500 lbs the dry (empty) weight of the trailer or the GVWR? We usually pick out systems based on the loaded tongue weight of your setup. Tongue weight (TW) is typically 10-15% of your trailer weight. Based on the information I have you need one of the following based on TW:
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37100ET (TW range 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs)
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37120ET (800 lbs - 1,200 lbs)
If I had to guess I would say you need the # EQ37100ET designed for 600-1,000 lbs of tongue weight. However, it really depends on what you have in your trailer, how it is loaded, and if you typically carry additional weight behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle (that also counts as tongue weight). If you really want to be sure you can measure using a tongue weight scale like the # BTBRV44FR.
If you still aren't sure feel free to add your trailer year, make, and model, or any other useful information in the comments below. I can help you dial it down a little more with the additional information.
