Question:
Based on measurements of my existing RV drum brakes 2021 Shadow Cruiser, these two appear to be the two self-adjust brake part number options. Part Number: 23-468-469 Part Number: AKEBRK-35-SA Can you please confirm the above and need for quantity of two of one of those part numbers for a tandem axle? Also, other than warranty term, what is the difference between the two part numbers?

Hey Steve, both of the kits you mentioned are self adjusting brake kits for 3,500 lb axles so they both will work. This part number is for a single axle though so if you have a tandem setup you'd need to order a quantity of two.
The Dexter # 23-468-469 does have a longer warranty at 5 years but aside from that Dexter is considered the premium brand made in the USA that's the highest quality. If you want the best and are okay with paying for it this is the way to go.
The etrailer assemblies part # AKEBRK-35-SA are still really well made and will work great but the warranty is shorter and maybe not quite as well made. But they are made well enough to get the job done.
