Can Middle X-Factor be Used with Roadmaster Comfort Ride

Question:

Is it possible to install the Morryde X-Factor cross braces on the Roadmaster Comfort Ride systems center slipper bracket? If so, how? We installed the cross braces on the front and rear spring hangers but would like to add one in the center.

Hey Steve, there isn't a way to use a middle X-factor with a Roadmaster comfort ride system unfortunately.

Hey Steve, did you find an alternative solution for adding support to the center of your system? I'm curious to know what you ended up doing, as it could help others facing a similar challenge.

@JamesonC I did. I added the Morryde X Factor to the center Roadmaster hanger. After consulting with a few trailer techs, I simply installed just as you would to the normal front and rear hangers except where the two tabs on each end of the Xfactor brace bolt/nut to secure on the hanger, I drilled holes in the Roadmaster center support and installed 3/8 thread tapping screws to hold the xfsctor brace on. I used the same screws as are used to secure the Roadmaster spring hanger to the frame. Works great! If you need a pic, I’ll send it.
