Will this lock work to lock the ball to the mount on the Curt C45900? The inside width of the channel is 3.

That is a good question, Paul. I am surprised the usable length isn't listed for the Curt # C23025 locking hitch pin. I went out to our warehouse to measure one and it looks like it will fit without issues (I included a quick diagram below with the measurements for reference). The usable length of the # C23025 is 4" and the distance from outside to outside of the # C45900 channel is 3-3/4".
